We talk about the history of toilets in movies and try to parse what color represents in this movie (spoilers: we don’t know because this movie doesn’t know, either). We talk about Pleasantville’s attempts to make a point and why it’s doing something different than it thinks it is, as well as ways this movie could have been more interesting or dynamic.
