Watch The Theron #036 – Snow White and the Huntsman (2012)
Most of Snow White and the Huntsman is forgettable, but that doesn’t make any of Charlize Theron’s gleefully campy acting any less wonderful. Releasing in an era of “gritty fairy tale reboots” (see also: Mirror Mirror and Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters), Snow White and the Huntsman tries to re-tell the classic tale of Snow White in new ways. Does it do an effective job? Do we really need the apple and dwarfs when nothing else feels the same? Should it be way weirder than it actually is? Does anyone think Kristen Stewart is actually “fairer” than Charlize Theron? We answer all of these questions along with special guest Jeremy Kelly, and we also play what may be our most successful game to date! Mirror, mirror, on the wall, which is the fairest podcast of them all? Oh, it’s this one? Why, you shouldn’t have!
