Where, oh, where will this #BoyfriendMaterial journey take us next? Today, it brings us to our first-ever Terrence Malick movie on the network: Song to Song! Shot over a couple years (and edited over a few more), we were this close to an eight-hour Gosling movie. Alas, we did not get that. Instead, we attempt to uncover who this “blonde Natalie Portman” in the film really is, which musicians we should/shouldn’t recognize, and whether or not Joe Two’s predictions for most/least #BoyfriendMaterial moments for this film came true… plus, Joey unveils to Joe Two a devastating revelation about the Letterboxd game that will shake long-time listeners to their core. Will this be the end of the Letterboxd game as we know it? Will everything about the game change? Or will nothing change as this is all hyperbolic and irrelevant to the game itself?
