We’ll be back to cover this movie in its entirety when it hits VOD or Blu-ray in 2019, but as has become tradition when Mike and Joey see a Cage movie in theaters together, here’s a mini-review of the movie. Spoiler alert: it’s really great and you should see it as soon as you can. We discuss the movie as a whole, Cage’s role (and screen time) within it, some of our biggest surprises and favorite moments, as well as why the movie feels like such a fresh take on both comic book and superhero stories. We also long for a Nicolas Cage as Spider-Man Noir spin-off, and preview the rest of the (non-Cage) triple-feature we’re seeing!
