High School Slumber Party #110 – The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012)
Brian welcomes Aislinn Addington (The Contenders) back to the Slumber Party to discuss one of her favorite films, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. This rare adaptation (directed and written by the author of the best-selling book, Stephen Chbosky) stars Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, Ezra Miller, and Paul Rudd. Lerman stars as Charlie, a teen battling mental health issues relating to a recent loss, as well as an early childhood trauma, and now must overcome one of his greatest challenges yet: his freshman year of high school. The performances and the sensational soundtrack make it one of the better films covered on High School Slumber Party. Stay tuned until the end of the episode for a brand new social media challenge!
