In 1983, Marvel Comics introduced The New Mutants, who would go on to become X-Force after 100 issues and 8 years. Both teams have seen more than a dozen iterations between them, and now both relaunch under the Dawn of X! The New Mutants follows the adventures of a few (of the now rather old) classic New Mutants and Generation X students, while X-Force represents the new mutant CIA.
